Happy Cinco De Mayo Weekend

Hello everyone and Happy Cinco De Mayo weekend. It’s holiday time in Mexico as Joan Clayton said in the 2000s sitcome Girlfriends. Oh, I miss that show. LOL. Not much going on for us on this weekend except we acknowledge it as a day of celebration.

The weather has started to peak in the high 80s and low 90s so it’s time to break out those spring and summer bodies…ooouuuu. At one point since the beginning of the year, I started a workout regimen with the husband however that was short lived. I honestly hate working out. I enjoy seeing the gains but since I never really gain or lose more than 2lbs, I’m happy the way I am. How are you guys staying in shape and getting that body ready for the summer? It’s a little different for the moms out there that have those post baby pooches. I feel you ladies. The struggle for find the cutest high-waisted swimsuit is real.

I was a little daring when I decided to actually take photos in the skin tight olive green dress in the pics shown. I did do a little “suck it in” action but for the most part, that’s my body and I’m happy with it. Nimo of course always looks delicious. He can do the simplest workout routine and see gains in 1 week.

Anyways, I paired the dress which is from Forever 21 with a men’s hat from Forever 21 and my Reebok Classics with the hum bottom. Nimo is wearing a distressed, painted denim button up from Rue 21 and khaki style joggers from Zumiez. He paired a fresh pair of Diadora’s with the look. I love those nude shoes. They didn’t come in my size. (Insert sad face.) Comment below and let me know what you did this weekend for Cinco De Mayo.
