Welcome to Art Piece Friday……..
This week is all about the biggest statue in the world which is called “Statue Of Unity” that is located in the state of Gujarat, India. The height is 182 metres (597 ft.) , the statue is an Indian statesman and independence activist Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (1875-1950) who was the first home of minister of India and chief of Mahatma Gandhi during a non-violent movement.
This statue is crazy and impressive at the same time, because you know how many people in labor hours something like this takes, that’s called dedication. This piece is twice the height of the “Statue Of Liberty” it’s the equivalent of almost two American football fields stacked vertically, minus the end zones. Very dope piece for dope minds of that country.
And just to let you guys know the price tag on art like this cost the country $400 million which Ram V. Sutar designed.
See you next Friday, no Ice Cube
