Welcome to Art Piece Friday….
This week is all about African-American ballet dancer Misty Danielle Copeland, Born in Kansas City, Missouri and started ballet at the age of 13 and quickly rose to stardom early on. Ms. Copeland was named female principal dancer with the prestigious American Ballet Theatre.
Ms. Copeland is art and expresses it through various ways other than dance. Copeland has become a public speaker, celebrity spokesperson, stage performer, and wrote two autobiographical books about her career challenges called “A Ballerina’s Tale”. Dance has always been a form of art and with Ms. Copeland at the top it’s in great hands for years to come, very dope.
